Where to Make Money from Home: Paid Survey Sites

As a stay-at-home mom, with a family of 5 living off of just Daddy's paycheck, I've done some major research into online work from home sites that actually pay out for the time you put into them.  There are so many out there that it's hard to find the ones that aren't scams or the "complete 2 silver offers and one gold offer to receive..." but after spending a lot of time checking these companies out, and getting at least one payout - these are the ones I definitely recommend.

My Goofy Kids

Sammy, the two year old, is working on potty training.  So of course, this means he's learning to undress... We got home today from dropping Daddy off at work and as soon as we walked in the door he strips down to his diaper.  Then he disappears into his room for a while, comes back and is wearing my old rain boots.

Striking a pose?
And Kaya, she's starting to make faces and sounds now... Her newest face?

She'll have quite a sense of humor, I'm sure

Speaking of Kaya - we have the sweetest little beanies from the hospital for her.  Sammy has a hat fetish fascination.... He also likes big sister's necklaces...

Swag?? no.

My kids are awesome.

my strength

wow its almost 1:30 and here I am, wide awake. Kaya's already been up for her midnight bottle and will sleep til about 5, but i'm hooked on Saving Grace on netflix... keep doing the "just one more episode" thing lol. Used to watch this show with Dad... damn I miss him. The pain of losing someone never goes away, does it? Just gets easier to deal with? And then there's days where my coping mechanism is shot all to hell and I just want to stay in bed and cry all day. If it weren't for my babies, I probably would do just that. Its amazing how people so small can give you such strength...

Dial Body Wash Review

There's nothing like a long, hot shower to relax and end the day, amiright?? It seems like I haven't been able to actually enjoy a shower since the new baby came along - those 5 minute speed showers while both kids are napping are enough to get clean but never enough to really refresh me, ya know?

Thanks to Purex Insiders, I was able to try out the new line of Dial Body Wash.  I chose the Lavender and Twilight Jasmine, and OMG I'm in love.  It's antibacterial, which is the only way to go as far as I'm concerned (boreline germaphobe!) but doesn't dry your skin out like a lot of the antibacterial body washes out there.  It smells so good, even those speed showers are relaxing.

The description on the Dial site says:
Sweetly innocent and richly exotic, this skin-caring wash provides an experience that is pure indulgence, while its moisturizers help hydrate your skin.

All I can say is that I found my new indulgence, and will probably use only Dial body washes from now on.  I'm hooked!
You can connect with Dial on Facebook to stay up to date with their latest promotions and news!

Disclaimer: I received coupons for Free Dial body wash in exchange for sharing the Dial sweepstakes, but all opinions here are my own.

2 Month Check-up

Baby Kaya had her two week checkup Monday.  You know the one: they poke and prod and make the baby scream, while you stand helplessly beside wishing there was something you could do to make them leave her alone, yet knowing at the same time that you would rather know whether or not your baby is healthy so you say nothing, simply "shh shh"ing to try to settle her down.  Oh and the dreaded vaccinations... I am a vaccinating mama; I do trust the science behind vaccinations and believe the benefits outweigh the risks.  But three shots into her tiny little thigh all in one painfully long visit?  My poor baby!

Wordless Wednesday: A Day Late

Spent the day putting Kaya's crib together yesterday.  Here's the finished result:

I won this crib in a giveaway... I love it so much!

and here's the little man cheesing it for the camera lol
he's such a ham lol

When Your Baby Falls

It happened.  I dropped Kaya.  Not on purpose, not viciously... heck, I didn't even realize that I was holding her.

Wordless Wednesday: Growing

I can't believe how fast he's growing.  It seems like it was just yesterday that he was the size of my new one...

And this one... omg how sweet she is!

How to Change a Diaper

In my English class, we had to write an "explaining essay" that described the steps taken in order to get a task done.  Seeing as my life revolves around my children and that I seem to lack experience in any other field as of late, I chose changing a diaper as my topic:
